Our Ellesmere Port clinic operates a 24-hour service, ensuring dedicated care for our patients around the clock. All prices for our inpatient and outpatient services remain the same no matter what time of day.

Throughout the night, you'll encounter a diverse range of cases while overseeing our inpatient service. Our well‑equipped facility boasts a fully staffed, experienced night nursing team for support throughout your shift. Our site is equipped with diagnostic tools, including ultrasound, radiography and CT, and a standard shift runs from 18:30 – 07:30. At Animal Trust, you’ll be working alongside an exceptional group of colleagues including certificate holders, advanced practitioners, and a diplomat all committed to providing the highest standard of care and continually advancing their clinical skills.

Night work at Animal Trust offers the right candidate a unique flexibility. We are open to discussing rota options to suit your commitments outside of work. We run a 24-hour service from three of our hospitals, so working nights at Animal Trust ensures you are never alone, and we provide a collaborative environment where vets can always consult with one another regarding cases.

What We’re After:
  • You really love what you do and want to make a big difference.
  • You feel as strongly as we do about our social mission.
  • You can empathise with the owner and the patient.
  • You enjoy the buzz and liveliness of a fast‑paced environment.
  • You’re excited by the opportunity to get stuck into a varied caseload.
  • You’re keen to grow your technical capability and be part of a friendly and multi‑talented team.
  • You love ECC and keen to grow on your skills.
  • You’re able to work seamlessly with our day team.
What You’ll Get:

  • Excellent development and training opportunities
  • 6 weeks of holiday per year
  • Staff discount
