Job summary

Bristol Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Night Veterinary Referral Patient Care Assistant to support RVNs and Vets in delivering top-level care for our animal patients.

You will handle general cleaning, assist during treatments, feed and exercise patients, and help prepare emergency facilities, with shifts from 18:00 to 06:00 on a seven-night cycle.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and empathy in handling clients and patients.
• Experience with animals and welfare understanding is desirable.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with the public.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning, laundry and maintenance duties around the hospital.
• Assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment.
• Cleaning, walking, and feeding of patients; preparation of emergency and operating facilities.
• Running internal lab samples.
