Job summary

DFDS in Grimsby is seeking a reliable Van Driver to join our logistics team. You will drive a van to customer sites, assist with warehouse tasks, and operate a forklift when required. The role includes basic vehicle checks and accurate paperwork, with emphasis on safety and professional customer service.

The position is full-time, on-site, with night shifts and a focus on timely deliveries in a fast-paced environment. Training and development are provided to grow within the fleet operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class B (car/van) licence and a valid FLT licence.
• Experience driving a van and handling deliveries is preferred.
• Able to work night shifts and on a fast-paced site.

Responsibilities

• Drive a van to deliver goods to customer premises and loading/unloading as required.
• Operate a forklift safely to move goods and support warehouse operations.
• Carry out basic vehicle and equipment checks and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers and uphold safety procedures.
