Salary

£36,000 - £38,000 per year (DOE)

About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and safety‑conscious Nightshift Supervisor to lead our transport operations during the night shift. You’ll play a key role in ensuring deliveries are made efficiently, vehicles are compliant, and drivers are well‑supported.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce safe working practices and ensure PPE is worn at all times.
  • Induct, brief, and debrief drivers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct vehicle and trailer checks, report defects, and ensure roadworthiness.
  • Prepare trailers for loading and ensure schedules are met without delays.
  • Maintain clear communication with drivers, loading teams, and the transport office.
  • Promote a “Can Do” attitude and deliver excellent service.
  • Support audits, training, and development initiatives.
  • Handle vehicle movements, including TUG driving (full training provided – no special licence required).
