Location: Bournemouth
Hours: Night Shifts (Full-time - 42.5 hours)
Salary: £13.70ph
Start Date: ASAP

About Us

We are a specialist SEND college that provides education, care, and support to young people aged 16–25 with a range of complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and physical challenges. Our mission is to help every learner achieve their potential in a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.

The Role

As a Night Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a calm, safe, and supportive environment for learners during the night. Working as part of a caring and professional residential team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting learners with their evening and morning routines
  • Promoting independence and safeguarding wellbeing
  • Monitoring individuals throughout the night, providing reassurance and personal care where needed
  • Recording and reporting accurately in line with college procedures
  • Responding to emergencies in a calm and effective manner
What We’re Looking For
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Experienced in working in care, education, or support roles (SEND experience desirable)
  • Confident with providing personal care and working through the night
  • Able to follow care plans and safeguarding protocols
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible to cover occasional weekend or holiday shifts if required

A full enhanced DBS check is required (we can support this process).

Qualifications (desirable but not essential)
  • Level 2/3 Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • First Aid, Moving and Handling, or Medication Training
  • Experience in a residential or education setting
