Job summary

Stonepillow is seeking a Night Support Worker to join our young people services in Chichester. The role covers a 42.11 hour week on a 4 nights on/4 nights off rota, 8pm–8am, delivering trauma‑informed, compassionate support to 16+ looked after young people and care leavers in West Sussex.

You will build trust, carry out welfare checks, manage your caseload, and contribute to safeguarding, life skills programmes and collaborative case reviews with partners.

Qualifications

• A kind and empathetic attitude towards young people.
• Ability to work in challenging situations.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, confidentiality.
• Strong communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, person-centered support to 16+ looked after young people and care leavers.
• Manage own caseload and contribute to risk and support plans.
• Carry out welfare checks and participate in case reviews with the team.
