Location and Contract

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire, BB1 5JP

Shifts: Full-time 40 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

Pay Rate: £12.21 - £12.47 per hour (dependent on qualifications)

Role and Responsibilities
  • As part of our team, you will help plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and fun-filled activities that promote creativity, social interaction, and well-being. Responsibilities include:
  • Karaoke, Singing, and Dancing
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Baking and Cooking Activities
  • Outings and Community Trips
  • Festive Service Decorating and Event Setup
  • These activities aim to support physical, mental, and emotional well-being while building a sense of community and belonging.
Role Overview
  • You’ll support adults with lots of different needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and mental health.
  • You’ll support them to flourish in a place they call home. You’ll empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives.
  • You’ll give high-quality support tailored to people’s needs.
  • You’ll do activities like cooking, art or listening to music. And get out for movie nights and food outings.
  • You’ll provide personal care including support with continence needs; health and medication needs; handling personal possessions; finances and documents; shopping. Help them to have good levels of personal and environmental hygiene.
  • You’ll follow our procedures, so we give consistent, safe, and reliable care and support.

  • Previous experience within social care setting
