Job summary

Voyage Care in Brentwood (Essex) is recruiting a Night Support Worker to provide compassionate, overnight care for residents. You will help people with daily living tasks, monitor wellbeing, and respond to night-time needs.

This role offers a rota-based night schedule, a pay rate of £13.17 per hour, and benefits including Wagestream access, Blue Light Card discounts, and ongoing training. A full UK driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Be resilient, flexible and calm.
• Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans.
• Experience supporting individuals with distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories or trauma.

Responsibilities

• Provide night-time support and reassurance to residents.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Complete regular welfare and safety checks.
• Support individuals who may wake during the night.
• Maintain accurate records and handovers.
• Promote independence while ensuring a safe environment.

Typical shifts: 10:00pm to 8:00am, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
