About The Company

Our provision caters to students aged 3—19 years with neurological motor impairments such as Cerebral Palsy and associated medical and sensory needs. Our residential provision, Acorns, offers respite care for students from Monday to Friday during term time.

We are seeking a Night Support Worker to join a team responsible for the care and wellbeing of our young people between 7:00 pm and 7:00 am on Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time. Candidates should have a related Level 3 qualification or be willing to acquire it on the job, with experience working with children or young people.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for Night Support Workers to join our friendly team supporting inspirational young people.

• No weekend work.
• Support with 3 or more shifts throughout weekdays.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist young people with night-time/evening routines and morning routines.
• Make 15-minute routine checks during the night and attend to their needs (e.g., personal care).
• Perform routine laundry, hygiene, and light domestic tasks between bedroom checks.
• Complete night logs and wellbeing records before ending your shift.
• Liaise with evening and early morning staff during handovers to communicate any issues.
• Participate in fire evacuation procedures.
• Ensure the security of the premises.
• Provide high standards of physical and emotional care.
