🧡 About the Role

We're looking for enthusiastic support workers to provide one-to-one care for a wonderful man in his late 50s. He’s navigating life with resilience, humour, and creativity after a brain injury, and needs friendly, dedicated people to help him live life to the fullest — both at home (our client lives in Lanner) and out in the community.

👋 Meet the Client

This vibrant gentleman is:

  • A lover of good food and better cake — he enjoys cooking and baking in his cosy kitchen.
  • A proud dog dad — his adorable rescue pup is always by his side.
  • A music fan — think 60s rock to 80s synth pop.
  • A creative spirit — his artwork proudly decorates his home.
  • A film buff — from nature documentaries to action-packed thrillers.
🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assisting with personal care, medication, and daily routines
  • Supporting safe moving and handling
  • Encouraging independence and community engagement
  • Driving to appointments and outings (day staff must hold a valid UK driving licence)

Experience with acquired brain injury is a bonus — but not essential. What matters most is your personality, compassion, and reliability. Full training and shadow shifts provided.

🕒 Shifts & Hours
  • Day Shifts: 8am – 8pm
  • Waking Night Shifts: 8pm – 8am
  • Contracted & Flexible Hours Available:
    • Full-time: 36 - 48 hrs/week
    • Part-time: 24 hrs/week
    • Consistent rolling rotas
