Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is hiring a Supermarket Assistant in Witney. You’ll support stock replenishment, fulfil online orders and help deliver great service to customers during night shifts.

This role offers 20 hours per week across seven nights (20:00–07:00). Experience in customer service is welcome, and a flexible approach helps the team. DBS checks may be required and we value a healthy work-life balance.

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with our customers.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place for customers.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver to customers' doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns to sell-by dates.
• Working with the wider shop team to support, including checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
