Job summary

Company Shop Group is seeking a Stock Controller (Nights) for the Tankersley site. The role oversees stock control from receipt to dispatch, conducts counts, and drives corrective actions across the ambient and chilled warehouse environment.

You will use Navision for item setup, price changes and promotions, ensuring stock accuracy and safety discipline while coordinating with supplier and internal teams. 40 hours weekly, nights shift with enhanced rate.

Qualifications

• Good IT skills across varied applications.
• Knowledge of warehouse management and stock control systems.
• Experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV would be an advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to liaise with various other departments.

Responsibilities

• Follow stock from receipt to dispatch and conduct stock counts.
• Raise stock adjustments and ensure accuracy across the estate.
• Coordinate item setup, price changes, and promotions in Navision.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and near misses are reported.
• Process quarantined goods and supplier reconciliations.
• Carry out regular stock-takes with warehouse personnel.
• Pass on knowledge to colleagues and communicate across teams.
