Job summary

NRL in Slough is seeking a Night Site Manager to lead night-shift activities on a large-scale project. The role runs nights from 5:30pm to 6:00am on a ~3-month contract with weekend work requirements, reporting into the site management team.

Responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, enforcing RAMS and permits, tracking milestones, and coordinating handovers with the day team. Prior experience in data centres or high-spec environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Night Manager, Construction Manager, or similar on large-scale projects.
• Background in data centres, complex industrial builds, or high-spec technical environments (desirable).
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and CDM awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all night-shift site activities including subcontractor teams.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and enforcement of RAMS, permits, and site rules.
• Track progress against programme milestones and report issues promptly.
• Oversee site logistics, deliveries, and access control.
• Conduct quality inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with the day team for seamless project handovers.
• Support commissioning tasks as needed.
