• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all cargo is received, handled, packed, and dispatched safely and efficiently.
• Manage a team of operatives, assessing workloads and delegating tasks.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements.
• Inspect cargo condition, complete necessary documentation, and report discrepancies.
• Check vehicles and mechanical handling equipment for safety and suitability.
• Observe and enforce security and Health & Safety standards.
