Job summary

Absolute Sales is seeking a reliable Night Shift Warehouse Operative to join its Chelmsford distribution centre. You will pick, pack and dispatch orders, control stock and perform quality checks while adhering to safety procedures.

The role offers a £31,000 annual salary with a generous bonus, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and a pension scheme. Night hours Mon-Thurs, with optional overtime and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience operating reach truck and counterbalance forklifts.
• Strong stock handling and order picking capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid health and safety awareness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible, reliable and positive approach to work.
• Experience with CNC machinery or Schelling cutting saws is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and dispatching goods.
• Picking, preparing and loading customer orders.
• Stock control and inventory management.
• Conducting quality checks.
• Unloading, checking and storing deliveries correctly.
• Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
