Job summary

Wellocks, part of the William Jackson Food Group, is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for the Nelson main site. This night-shift role (7pm start) runs 34 hours across 4 nights per week, Sunday to Friday, with pay of £15.12 per hour.

You will pick and pack orders, scan with handheld devices, rotate stock by best-by dates, and keep the warehouse clean and safe. The role requires teamwork, reliable attitude, strong communication, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention

Qualifications

• You will be working as part of a team, so being a reliable and effective team member is important.
• You will need strong communication skills and have an enthusiastic, can do attitude.
• You will need to be able to work to tight deadlines whilst having a good eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders into reusable green creates as per the order sheet.
• Scan order sheets with handheld devices to ensure correct stock is picked.
• Rotate stock according to on-pack dates and maintain a clean, tidy warehouse.
• Load completed orders onto the fleet of vans.
• Work 34 hours per week, 4 nights per week, Sunday night to Friday night.
