Job summary

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Night Shift General Warehouse Operative / Operations Support Picker (Milk & Chemicals) in a UK warehouse. The role runs Sunday to Thursday, 8:00pm–4:30am, 40 hours per week, with a 30-minute break, at a rate of £13.40 per hour.

You will pick milk and chemicals, support ambient pickers via a headset, and perform general warehousing tasks. Training is provided; prior picking experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Be able to work at a fast and efficient pace.
• Ability to listen and respond to instructions via a headset.
• Feel comfortable working in a cold environment.
• Be able to pay close attention to detail at all times.

Description: As a Night Shift General Warehouse Operative / Operations Support Picker you will be specifically responsible for picking milk and chemicals (cleaning products) and providing support to ambient pickers following picking instructions as directed via a voice headset for ambient and chilled goods as required. Additionally, any general warehouse duties as necessary.

Essential Skills/Requirements:

• Be able to work at a fast and efficient pace
• Ability to listen and respond to instructions via a headset
• Feel comfortable working in a cold environment
• Be able to pay close attention to detail at all times

Desirable Skills/Requirements: Previous picking experience, however, not essential as training will be provided and this role could be considered a good introduction to gain experience for more advanced picking roles
