Job summary

Goldstar Transport operates from its Felixstowe Depot and is seeking a night operations supervisor to lead the night team. You will ensure smooth night-time processes, manage costs, and hand over to the day shift with clear operational updates.

The role requires container transport experience, a Transport Manager CPC, and proficiency with Truckcom and Excel. You will collaborate closely with drivers to maintain compliance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night operations and provide support to night staff with any operational issues.
• Control avoidable costs, monitor and explain missed VBS / CBS costs.
• Provide handovers to day shift to ensure the operation remains seamless.
• Keep up to date with regulations, policies and procedures.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data input.
• Ability to multitask across several projects.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Build strong relationships with the driving team.
• Experience with container transport is essential.

Sunday to Thursday 2000 hrs – 0600 hrs
