Bristol Waste Company is seeking a Cleansing Operative to sweep, litter-pick and cleanse allocated routes to required standards in Bristol. The role includes manual handling and potential weed spraying from March to September, with full training provided.

Hours total 39 per week (Sunday-Thursday 9pm-5:30am; Friday 4:30am) and salary 33,363.76 per annum with a 20% uplift for nights. Onsite team environment and progression opportunities are offered.

Formación

• Good communication skills to liaise with the public and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently using initiative and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge of equipment to ensure safe use.
• Experience or ability to demonstrate suitability for physical work involving pushing/pulling waste bins and lifting sacks up to 10 kg.

Responsabilidades

• Sweep and litter-pick allocated routes and cleanse to required standards.
• Complete tasks within required timescales and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain professional conduct when communicating with colleagues and the public.
