Job summary

ICTS is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to safeguard premises and people at a prestigious motorsport client site in the United Kingdom. You will manage access, patrol the site, respond to requests, verify IDs, and handle alarms while maintaining safety and incident records.

The role operates on a 4 on 4 off night shift, 12-hour shifts, with flexibility to support colleagues. Required SIA DS/SG license, strong customer service, and five years of checkable history; CRC is mandatory.

Qualifications

• SIA DS or SG license is essential.
• Minimum five years of checkable history and references.
• Experience in a customer-facing security role preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication and IT skills.
• Must pass a criminal records check (CRC).
• First Aid at Work and CCTV licence are useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing access control for buildings and car-parks for employees, visitors and contractors.
• Patrolling buildings, car parks and grounds to deter and detect problems.
• Responding to customer requests and queries.
• Checking and challenging ID passes with a professional approach.
• De-activating/activating alarms and locking/unlocking buildings and gates.
• Reporting Health & Safety issues and carrying out first aid if necessary.
• Maintaining incident records using paper and computer systems.
