Job summary

Sewell Group is seeking a part-time Customer Service Assistant for the Pocklington store in East Yorkshire. You will work 16 hours per week on a two-week rota (Thu/Fri 10pm-6am and Sat/Sun 10pm-6am) at the Pocklington site.

The role includes serving customers, managing cash, and assisting with stock deliveries and shelf replenishment. Benefits include a per-hour wage of £12.90–£13.50, a yearly bonus opportunity, staff discounts, and access to retail discounts and support services.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly approach.
• Experience handling cash and operating tills.
• Ability to assist with stock deliveries and shelf replenishment.

Responsibilities

• Providing world-class customer service.
• Monitoring the store and forecourt.
• Authorising fuel pumps and serving customers.
• Handling cash.
• Assisting with stock, deliveries, re-stocking shelves, and date checks.
• Providing advice to customers on shop products, services and offers.
• Keeping the site clean and tidy.
• Be aware of security within the store and forecourt.
• Providing support and cover for holidays and sickness when required.
• Regular training to develop your role.
