Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Brighton is seeking a Supermarket Assistant to help deliver partner-led service daily. You will stock shelves, fulfil online orders, reduce wastage and support the shop team, including checkout and Click & Collect.

The role is 37.5 hours per week across seven days with a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for hours between 22:00–06:00. Starting pay is £13.00 per hour, with £13.25 after 90 days, based at 130-134 Western Road, Brighton, BN1 2LA.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills for customer-facing service.
• Flexible approach to cover varied shift patterns and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and correctly shelved.
• Fulfil online customer orders for driver delivery.
• Reduce wastage by checking products and dating & markdowns.
• Support the wider shop team including checkout and Click & Collect.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment with general shop tasks.
