Job summary

Serencroft Care Homes is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN) to join the night team at Woodlands Care Home in Stockport. You will deliver safe, person-centred nursing care overnight, lead the night staff, and ensure medication administration and record-keeping meet required standards.

The role requires an active NMC PIN, DBS clearance, and a commitment to ongoing professional development and revalidation.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN.
• Experience in care home or similar clinical setting desirable.
• Willingness to undergo DBS check.
• Excellent communication and leadership for night shift.
• Commitment to professional development and revalidation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care overnight.
• Lead and support night care team.
• Administer medication safely and accurately per policy.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and care plans.
• Liaise with GPs and out-of-hours services as required.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions.
• Support infection prevention and ensure standards compliance.
