Sammons Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for Production Operatives to join a busy night-shift team in Rye. You will support manufacturing and warehouse operations, ensuring quality and targets are met. This is a temporary role with the possibility of going permanent.

Location is Rye; own transport is required due to location. Hours are 10:00pm–6:00am, Monday to Friday. The role offers a route to permanent employment for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, warehouse, or manufacturing roles is desirable.
• Good attention to detail and reliability.
• Punctuality and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Capable of working to targets or deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for location and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support production and manufacturing operations.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assemble products to required specifications.
• Conduct visual quality checks to ensure standards.
• Pack and prepare finished goods for dispatch.
• Follow production schedules and work instructions.
• Maintain accurate production records as required.
• Work to daily production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Are you a hands‑on individual with experience in a manufacturing environment? Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join their busy production team on a night shift.

You will be supporting the team across manufacturing and warehouse departments, ensuring quality standards and production targets are achieved. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidates.

What's on Offer?

Location: Rye (Own transport needed due to location)

Job Type: Full time, temporary with the possibility of going permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday Night shift, 10:00pm till 6:00am

Salary: From £18.51 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting production and manufacturing operations
• Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Assembling products to required specifications
• Conducting visual quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
• Packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch
• Following production schedules and work instructions
• Maintaining accurate production records where required
• Working to daily production targets and deadlines
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all company health and safety procedures

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within a production operative, warehouse operative, manufacturing operative or pick and pack role is desirable
