Job summary

CDM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Pipefitter for permanent night shift work in Billingham. You will fit, assemble and install pipework, mainly with manifolds and castings, while reading drawings and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

The role requires TIG welding experience, mechanical fitting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Night hours are 8:45pm–6:00am with a 4-shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pipefitter with manifolds and castings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• TIG welding experience preferred.
• Relevant qualifications or apprenticeship experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Fitting and assembling pipework and components.
• Working with manifolds, castings and related assemblies.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Measuring, cutting and preparing pipework.
• Carrying out accurate fitting and assembly work.
• Ensuring all work meets quality standards.
• Working safely to meet production deadlines.
