Job summary

A global B2B food ingredient company is looking for a reliable and multi-skilled Shift Engineer to maintain and repair various factory equipment. This role involves performing breakdown repairs, machine servicing, and managing tasks during the permanent night shift. Candidates should possess relevant mechanical and electrical qualifications, along with strong communication skills. Qualifications

• A recognised electrical/mechanical qualification (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
• Computer skills, including knowledge of CMMS systems and standard software.
• Knowledge of IET wiring regulations (18th edition).
• Previous knowledge of an automated maintenance system.
• An IPAF licence (3a); training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance of factory equipment in line with schedule.
• Follow and complete the Jobs Log during shift.
• Update the MVP (CMMS) system.
• Perform equipment repairs and deal with breakdowns.
• Liaise with production teams to minimise downtime.
