Job summary

ADM, based in Knottingley, West Yorkshire, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a night-shift role in a multi-skilled maintenance team. You will ensure tasks meet health, safety, and food-safety guidelines, working under the Maintenance Manager.

Key duties include fault finding, improving plant performance, and supporting projects; candidates should hold an NVQ3 or equivalent and a timed electrical apprenticeship, with robust electrical and mechanical expertise.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent is required.
• Timed electrical apprenticeship completed.
• Strong mechanical skills and pneumatics knowledge.
• Experience fault finding on panel control systems, motors and drives.
• Time served apprentice with electrical engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• To undertake and promote Safety & Health requirements in accordance with Company and Site procedures, programmes and targets.
• To work within Company and site quality and hygiene standards for food safety.
• To maximise efficiency and minimise production disruption and downtime.
• Fault finding on plant equipment with a view to resolving breakdowns resulting in production interruptions and issues.
• Contribute to solutions for electrical/engineering/production problems, implement modifications and improvements as required to maintain optimum plant performance.
• Involvement with projects and initiatives as directed by the maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
