  • Ensure only calibrated equipment is used.

Job Opportunity: Production Line Operator

Location: Maldon

Contract Type: Permanent

Shifts: Nights shift available 4 on 4 off

Key Responsibilities
Machine & Asset Care
  • Perform selected Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks.
  • Support machine performance and reliability.
Health & Safety
  • Promote a strong safety culture on the shop floor.
  • Complete risk assessments, report incidents, and submit near misses.
  • Adhere to all safety policies including PPE, LOTO, Knife Safety, and others.
  • Participate in 6S inspections and continuous safety improvements.
Quality Assurance
  • Ensure only calibrated equipment is used.
  • Assist in SOP development and product testing.
  • Manage questionable stock and ensure product quality meets specifications.
Supply Chain & Reporting
  • Communicate with supply chain for material replenishment.
  • Report material usage and complete line performance metrics.
  • Maintain visual management boards and ensure smooth shift handovers.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • FLT license preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of production processes and computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented with leadership potential.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Able to work all shift patterns, including weekends.
