Qualifications

• Experience with HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, or Heavy Plant.
• Willingness to train as a HGV Technician if coming from Light Commercial or Car Mechanic.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a variety of Trucks and Vehicles.
• Carry out safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT.
• Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures.

Skills

Previous experience as a Technician / Mechanic

Excellent technical knowledge

Ability to diagnose faults

Full UK driving licence

Education

Qualified to Level 3 in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

Recognised apprenticeship or training programme
