Job summary

Culina is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join our Warrington depot for General Haulage across the region. The role offers full-time hours with a variety of night shifts (16:00–23:00 starts) and schedules such as Mon-Fri, Thurs-Mon, Tue-Sat, or Sun-Thu.

We provide flexible patterns to suit availability. Pay rates range from £15.80 to £18.41 per hour depending on shift, plus meal and night-out allowances where applicable.

Qualifications

• You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR convictions.
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tachograph cards.
• Understand and comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.

Responsibilities

• General Haulage with Curtainside trailers to Distribution Centres and Stores.
• Occasional store deliveries and loading/unloading cages.
• Complete vehicle checks and documentation.
• Maintain safety, compliance and professionalism.
• Work with transport team to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to Driver’s hours, WTD and tachograph legislation.
