Job summary

Waitrose & Partners, Bishop's Stortford, part of the John Lewis Partnership, is recruiting a Supermarket Assistant on a temporary basis. You will help keep shelves stocked, fulfil online orders and support the store team while earning a night premium for hours between 22:00 and 06:00.

The role involves varied part-time hours across seven days, including early starts and weekends, with a focus on customer service, food passion, and maintaining a clean, safe shop environment.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work as part of a team to deliver service.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and in the right place for customers.
• Fulfil online orders for delivery to customers' doors.
• Reduce wastage by following due diligence and markdowns on sell-by dates.
• Support the wider shop team with checkout, Click & Collect and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy working environment.
