Job summary

Thrive Oldham is recruiting for a General Operative on a night shift in the Wrexham area. Role involves following site rules, operating machinery, and adhering to Safe Operational Procedures with strict health and safety and housekeeping standards.

Shifts run Sunday to Thursday, 21.50–06.00, five shifts per week, with a £10 night shift allowance on top of £12.71 per hour. All duties include quality checks and risk assessments as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience following health and safety rules and SOPs.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and follow risk assessments.
• Attention to quality checks and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet all health and safety needs of the business.
• Practice good health and safety actions at all times.
• Follow all Safe Systems of Work and complete written quality checks.
• Maximise output in line with manufacturing targets, quality and safety constraints.
• Identify near misses or hazards and report to supervision.
• Maintain good housekeeping at all times.
• Report any near miss to supervision.
• Challenging unsafe or hazardous behaviour.
• Report all H&S issues to supervision.
• Wear PPE in designated areas.
