Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group in Ely is seeking colleagues for overnight store duties. You will stock shelves, move goods from warehouse to shopfloor, and keep areas tidy while providing excellent customer service.

The role involves working across store areas including chilled/freezer sections and using handsets/digital systems. A night shift premium applies, with benefits and opportunities for progression within a large retail network.

Qualifications

• Get store ready for the day by filling shelves and working at a steady pace overnight.
• Keep workspace tidy and aisles presentable for customers.
• Move stock safely from warehouse to shopfloor, including heavy equipment.
• Operate in different store areas including chilled and frozen.
• Use handsets and digital systems to complete work accurately and safely.
• Night shift premium applies (£2.45 per hour between midnight and 5am where applicable).
• Right to Work in the UK and minimum age of 18 are required.

Responsibilities

• Get the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves and maintaining a steady overnight pace.
• Keep your workspace tidy and ensure aisles are clean for customers the next day.
• Collect and move stock safely from warehouse to shopfloor, including heavy items.
• Work across different store areas, including chilled and frozen sections.
• Use equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete tasks accurately.
• Support other areas when needed and assist at checkouts after training.
