Job summary

Sainsbury's Group is seeking a Customer Assistant for night shifts to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers. You will move stock from the warehouse to the shopfloor, maintain a clean and connected store environment, and support other areas as needed while adapting to a fast-paced night-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare store for the day by stocking shelves and maintaining a steady night-time pace.
• Keep workspace tidy and ensure aisles are clean and presentable for customers the next day.
• Safely collect and move stock from warehouse to shopfloor, including heavy equipment.
• Work across different parts of the store, including chilled and frozen areas.
• Use equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete tasks accurately and safely.
• Assist in other areas as needed, including online order picking or serving at checkouts after training.
