Job summary

Sainsbury’s in Lincoln is seeking a Customer Assistant on nights to stock shelves, maintain tidy aisles, and move stock from warehouse to shopfloor. You’ll work across areas including chilled and frozen sections, using handsets and digital systems to perform tasks accurately.

The role is physically demanding and requires teamwork, flexibility, and a willingness to learn new tools. Night shifts come with a premium and opportunities to grow within a major retailer.

Responsibilities

• Getting the store ready for the day by filling shelves and stocking overnight.
• Keeping work areas tidy and aisles clean for customers.
• Moving stock from warehouse to shopfloor safely, including heavy items.
• Working across store areas including chilled and frozen zones.
• Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete tasks accurately.
• Supporting other areas as needed, including picking online orders or serving at checkouts once trained.
