Qualifications

• Experience of patient care is required.
• Experience of working within a team is required.
• Manual Handling Skills essential.
• Knowledge of Infection Control needed.
• Knowledge of Tissue Viability is important.

Responsibilities

• Work predominantly evening shifts on a flexible rota.
• Support housebound patients in managing long term conditions.
• Provide care that prevents hospital admission.

Good communication skills (verbal/written)

Ability to work unsupervised when required

Education

NVQ Level III – direct care, social care (or equivalent)
