Night Shift CNC Turner

£42,656 - £50,654 (Including Shift Premium)

Are you looking for a new role? Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate CNC Turner to hit the ground running and join their well-established business!

CNC Turner Roles and Responsibilities:

• Previous experience in programming, setting and operating 2 axis turning machines
• Ability to write new CNC programs long hand at the machine
• Editing prewritten programs, the full machine setup including material, tooling, speeds, feeds
• Conduct in-process inspection using measuring equipment
• Producing one off, as well as low to medium volume precision parts in a range of hard and soft metals
• Excellent knowledge of 2 axis CNC machines, cutting speeds and feeds, geometric tolerances
• Good understanding of interpreting engineering drawings and standards
• Confident in working on parts up to ¢300mm x 3m in length, using lifting equipment

CNC Turner Ideal Candidate:

• Experience of Fanuc Combi 210i-T controls would be advantageous
• Experience with TIR 4 jaw work
• Experience in Screw cutting work/ threading work
• Possess a hands‑on, quality driven, positive, self‑motivated manner
• History within the manufacturing industry within a machine shop environment

CNC Turner Working Hours and Benefits:

• Monday – Wednesday 4.30pm – 3.30am, Thursday 4.30pm – 1.30am
• Holidays are 20 days + 8 Bank Holidays + Bonus holiday over the Christmas Period
