Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Night Shift Cleaning Operative for the NATS site in Whiteley. The role is permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week, with a Saturday to Wednesday night pattern from 20:45 to 05:45.

Salary is £17.70 per hour, and the post requires passing SC Clearance due to site operations. You will log tasks using Merlin, perform cleaning to site standards, handle cleaning chemicals safely, and support excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Experience using a CAFM system.
• Previous cleaning experience within commercial buildings.
• Reliable, hardworking and professional in your approach.
• Self-motivated, honest and able to work using your own initiative.
• Flexible and willing to undertake all required training.

Responsibilities

• Use the Merlin system via a mobile device to log tasks, complete checks and record cleaning activities.
• Carry out cleaning duties in line with agreed schedules and site standards.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly at all times.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and site requirements.
• Build positive working relationships with customers and colleagues whilst delivering excellent customer service.
