Job summary

Tomlin Personnel Ltd. is recruiting Class 1 HGV drivers for night shifts based in Shirebrook near Mansfield. You will operate as part of a two-man team delivering to stores, with route planning and paperwork checks, and you will experience long night shifts with 15–21 hours and a 4 on 2 off pattern.

Ongoing work with potential for permanent roles; weekend rates apply and overtime is available. Full UK licence required; experience not essential but CPC and tachograph card are needed.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (C+E)
• Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
• Newly passes welcome
• Maximum of 6 points on your licence (No DR, DD, DG, IN10, TT Codes)
• No previous experience is required

Responsibilities

• Driving duties as part of a 2 Man Store Delivery Team
• Help with cages for deliveries into stores and bringing back empty cages
• Adhere to safety and paperwork requirements and route changes/delays
• Maintain professional, reliable and punctual conduct on all shifts
