Job summary

Mearns View Care Home, part of CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts in Newton Mearns. You will guide the team to provide safe, person-centred care and oversee medication administration while monitoring residents’ wellbeing.

Your role includes maintaining care records and coordinating with families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is essential; Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support the care team to deliver safe, high quality, person-centred care.
• Take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift and ensure care is well organised.
• Oversee medication administration and monitor residents' wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with families and healthcare professionals.
