Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Security Officer for the Dover/Folkestone area on a 42-hour weekly night shift. The role offers a pay rate of £14.22 per hour and requires a valid SIA licence with Door Supervisor status, along with the ability to obtain SC clearance and a full 5-year UK residency.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence with Door Supervisor status is required.
• Desirable CCTV experience and ability to monitor and report incidents.
• Must be able to obtain SC clearance and have a full 5-year UK history.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Log and direct incidents to completion.
• Communicate issues to Operations Manager and relevant departments.
• Maintain site access/egress standards and visitor control.
• Ensure dress, safety and presentation standards are maintained.
• Prepare timely, accurate security activity reports.
• Follow all equipment procedures and sign assignments.
• Fulfill contractual requirements and address client concerns.
• Handle day-to-day security enquiries and duties as required.
• Support KPI tracking and service level agreements.
