Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a Roadside Technician for night shifts in Nottingham. You will respond to roadside breakdowns, assess faults, and perform mechanical/electrical repairs at the roadside to maintain member mobility.

The role requires a Level 2/3 light vehicle maintenance qualification, 2+ years post-qualification experience, and a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points. Overtime and bonuses are available as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualifications are required.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on post-qualification experience with vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence with up to 6 points is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Attend roadside breakdowns and assess faults quickly and accurately.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical roadside repairs (battery changes, wheel changes, minor engine fixes).
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine repair options.
