Overview

Job Title: Night Registered Veterinary Nurse
Reporting to: Group Nursing Manager
Location: Abbey House Veterinary Hospital Morley
Salary: £33,000 FTE - £21,750 pro rata including £3,000 night supplement
Hours: Permanent, one week on and one week off; hours are 7pm – 8:30am, Monday – Thursday

Abbey House Vets are looking for a dedicated and experienced RVN who has a keen desire in the emergency field to join as a Night RVN. The right candidate will be able to work in a team but also have the efficiency to work independently to provide excellent patient and client care.

There is no weekend work and you will work Monday – Thursday every other week, which means every Friday, Saturday and Sunday you will be off.

You will be working alongside a dedicated night VS and PCA for the full night shift, alongside twilight PCA/SVN support throughout the week.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, emergency medicine and surgery care during night shifts in a fast-paced environment.
• Work as part of a team and independently to deliver high-quality patient and client care.
• Support a night team including a night VS and PCA, with twilight PCA/SVN support during the week.
