HotelCare in Edinburgh is seeking a Public Area Cleaner to join our fast-paced hospitality support team. You will clean corridors, lobbies, reception areas and other public spaces to a high standard, ensuring guests experience a spotless environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within hospitality, cleaning or public area cleaner roles.
• Able to lift, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adaptability to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning designated public areas such as corridors, lifts, lobbies, offices, reception areas, stairs, ironing rooms, changing rooms, and meeting rooms.
• Performing cleaning tasks efficiently and to a high standard within a fast-paced environment.
• Following health and safety protocols and COSHH guidelines.
• Reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries to management promptly.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring safe use.
• Collaborating with team to achieve cleanliness goals and a positive working environment.
• Following instructions from supervisors regarding cleaning schedules and tasks.
• Providing excellent customer service by keeping public areas clean and presentable.
