Looking for an adventure as a Night Porter (or Guest Services Assistant (GSA) Nights) at the ibis Styles hotel in Barnsley?

Key Details

This is a part-time position working 16 hours per week, and we're offering a salary of £12.70 per hour plus benefits.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Picture this: you'll be the friendly face welcoming our late-night guests, handling those last‑minute reservations, and ensuring those early birds leave with a smile. Throughout the night, it's all about making sure every guest is comfy, the hotel is secure and our Front Office keeps ticking like clockwork.

Your to-do list?

  • You’ll likely be the first person our guests meet, so bring your A-game—friendly, professional, and confident!
  • Handling last‑minute reservations and ensuring guests are satisfied.
  • Managing cash at the bar and organizing reports.
  • Preparing breakfast, managing reservations, doing security checks.
  • Serving as the go-to for our housekeeping and maintenance teams.
Qualifications

Effective communication skills and a warm, welcoming vibe. Experience in hotels or a service industry is great to have but not essential. As long as you’re capable, reliable and keen, we can show you the ropes.
