A local hotel in Devon and Torbay is seeking a dedicated individual for a part-time position focused on customer service and maintenance. The role includes ensuring security, setting up for breakfast, serving drinks, and maintaining public areas. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in customer service or hospitality, with a passion for providing exceptional service and a willingness to learn. Work hours: 7pm to 11am (approx.). Duties include keeping the outside and public areas clean, preparing for the next day’s events, setting tables, tidying, general maintenance and attending to guests’ needs throughout the night.
Maintain statutory fire and security checks, provide room service, prepare and serve food to company standards, complete daily hand‑over procedures efficiently and responsibly, and ensure all corridors are clear with fire extinguishers and doors secure during safety floor checks.
At least 1 year of experience in customer service or hotels in a similar position is required. Ability to deliver exceptional service to guests and a passion for hospitality, reliability, and willingness to learn are essential.
