Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial is seeking a Night Order Picker to operate in Illey/Halesowen evenings, with Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am shifts. The role involves accurate picking, handling chilled and general merchandise, and ensuring orders are packed for dispatch. Immediate starts and long-term career prospects are offered.

The role requires prior order picking experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently through the night, with a path to a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Previous order picking experience in wholesale or distribution warehouse.
• Experience in fast-paced distribution environments.
• Able to work in ambient and chilled cold store conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable and able to meet deadlines.
• Willing to commit to permanent night shift 10:00pm–6:00am, Sun-Thu.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using lists and handheld scanners.
• Handle a wide range of products including general merchandise, chilled meat products and alcoholic beverages.
• Work in both warehouse and cold store environments.
• Prepare orders for dispatch with high accuracy.
• Replenish stock and maintain organized picking locations.
• Follow health and safety procedures and meet productivity targets.
