A leading care provider seeks a compassionate Night Nurse for Glencorse Care Home in Penicuik. You'll oversee the safety and wellbeing of residents at night, ensuring high-quality care and leading a team. This full-time role offers £22.88 per hour and includes paid breaks, pension, and uniform. Located in the heart of the new Greenlaw Mains community in Penicuik, Glencorse Care Home is a purpose-built, luxury care home set to open soon. Designed with comfort, dignity, and wellbeing in mind, it will provide high-quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for up to 54 residents in beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms.

As a Registered Nurse on night shift, you will be a key clinical leader in the home, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of residents throughout the night. You will oversee medication, monitor health needs, support the care team, and respond calmly and confidently to any concerns or emergencies. Your presence will bring reassurance, professionalism, and compassion when it is needed most.
You will take pride in developing and maintaining accurate care plans, ensuring all documentation is up to date and legally compliant. You will mentor Care Assistants, uphold clinical protocols, and contribute to a culture where kindness, respect, and inclusion are felt in every interaction.
