Job summary

Bristol Waste Company is seeking a Mobile Security Officer for night shifts on a fixed-term 6-month contract. You will ensure premises are secure, perform checks, and manage vehicle duties using a PDA app. A full SIA licence, prior security experience, and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence mandatory.
• Experience as a Security Officer/Guard/Door Supervisor or similar.
• Ability to administer first aid; training provided where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure buildings and premises are secure and perform key checks at shift start/end.
• Manage Bristol Workplace Services vehicle during shift.
• Complete paperwork per BS7984 & 7499 standards.
• Use the PDA app for work processes and reporting incidents.
• Report incidents promptly to Team Leader and log issues with the PDA app.
• Follow Assignment Instructions for patrols and alarm responses.
• Handle keys and maintain key control for shift duration.
• Conduct vehicle checks at shift start and maintain roadworthiness.
