A leading healthcare provider seeks a Night Mental Health Nurse for HMP Brixton. The role involves patient assessments, medication management, and support in a secure environment. The ideal candidate will be an NMC registered Mental Health Nurse with excellent communication skills. This bank role offers £28.12 per hour for night shifts from 20:00 to 08:00 throughout the week, with a focus on mental health and substance misuse care.
Due to the recent recategorisation to a Category B Remand Prison, we have an exciting opportunity for a Night Mental Health Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Brixton.
HMP Brixton is now a Category B male prison since April 2025 housing men on remand. Our patients needs will vary greatly but there will be a focus on mental health, substance misuse and early days in custody.
